This is being experienced across the industry, with the time taken to complete a transaction increasing by a third on average.

We assure you we are doing everything we can to keep transactions moving swiftly, but we are dependent on the speed of other key parties.

To keep things moving as efficiently as possible, please:

  • Try to communicate over email rather than by phone where p ossible, our teams are working remotely in line with Government guidance.
  • Encourage your buyers/sellers to keep the lines of communication clear. We are only able to speak to our own clients and receiving communication directly from other parties causes confusion and delays.
  • Wait at least 48 hours for responses to requests for updates before escalating, there are delays but our team is working tirelessly to keep things moving.
