What we need:

Work for a company whose technology and systems lead the market

Efficiently and effectively handle a caseload of Freehold, Leasehold, Registered and Un-registered residential conveyancing matters subject to appropriate training on more complex matters

Significantly contribute to the effective delivery of a high quality conveyancing service.

Have a minimum 12 months conveyancing experience in a case handling role

Work with other Team members and the Team Leader in accordance with Client Protocols, Service Level Agreements with customers, clients and referrers, SRA and other regulatory requirements, Court Rules and the Firm's policies and procedures

Work towards dealing with a caseload of residential conveyancing matters including freehold, leasehold, registered, unregistered, shared ownership and Newbuild subject to training on more complex matters

Ensure work carried to level required to pass audits and in accordance with all training delivered and to be able to work to the set processes and procedures of the business

What we need:

We are now looking for additional talented conveyancers who have the ability to manage a caseload and effectively lead a team of 8-10 people. This is a fast pace environment and will require a strong commitment to achieve individual and team targets and objectives. You are likely to be a Solicitor, CILEX qualified, Licenced Conveyancer, or perhaps an experienced individual who is competent at managing a high volume case load and able to work unsupervised. You will also be experienced in dealing with freehold, leasehold, new build, right to buy, shared ownership transactions and unregistered titles. What's most important is that you are able to evidence at least 3 years recent experience of carrying out high volume conveyancing transactions and preferably have significant people management experience. Furthermore, you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of providing pro-active, consistent and efficient client service and legal advice.

There will be a requirement for a strong commitment to achieve individual targets and objectives. It is essential that you are competent in dealing with freehold, leasehold, new build, right to buy, shared ownership transactions and unregistered titles. What's most important is that you are a self-starter who can work unsupervised and be able to evidence at least 3 years' recent experience of carrying out high volume conveyancing transactions. Furthermore, you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of providing pro-active, consistent and efficient client service and legal advice.

Job Requirements

Ensure that clients matter ledger are updated on a timely basis for all client money movements.

Accurate processing of client matter receipts

Timely processing of all client payments, including CHAPS, BACS, Faster Payments and Cheques

Maintaining the partner slips to ensure that all old and unprocessed slips are investigated / processed / deleted as appropriate

Ensure the unallocated receipts are allocated to returned in a timely manner

Checking of completion statements prior to processing client payments

Identifying and liaising with fee earners to resolve accounts queries relating to completions and client ledgers.

Comply with internal and external compliance processes and regulations

Ensure relevant end of day reports are generated and saved

Process client to office transfers / office to client transfers

Authorise bank payments

Reviewing and maintaining the client bank balances daily

Interest calculations

Ability to read and interpret a client and office matter ledger

Excellent maths skills

Good computer skills, not limited to partner, law case management systems and excel

Ability to work in a fast moving, high volume data inputting environment
